THe Exhibition
Alongside the rich selection of serigraphs on display at the Basel Messe, true symbolic images of the British artist's production such as Girl with Balloon and Love is in the Air, three extraordinary pieces from private collections will also be on display.
These are portions of three original walls painted by Banksy in 2009, 2010 and 2018. They were made by the artist in London, Devon and Wales and feature three teenagers, representatives of a new generation that seems to be from always the most sensitive to the themes around which the interests of the English artist move.
Structured in a strictly non-commercial manner, Banksy Painting Walls is not an immersive exhibition of reproductions, but a collection of original works that allow viewers to enter the contemporary world seen through the eyes of an extraordinary artist, capable of leaving his mark thanks to a simple message but with a disruptive impact on reality.
